SPONSOR A WHEELCHAIR !!!
Kumi Community Foundation in partnership with PhysioNet have organised a distribution of disability aids in Kumi. A team of volunteers, including seating specialist Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and technicians will be running the distribution in Kumi at the end of October into November.
If you would like to help by sponsoring the gift of a wheelchair to someone in need, then please contact our secretary at kumicomfound@yahoo.com to find out how to donate.
We will then send you a photo and information about the recipient of your sponsored chair.
These chairs make a huge difference to someone disabled. The gift of a wheelchair can restore someone’s dignity bringing them up from the ground, enabling them to be part of their community, to go to school, church or even to work.
