Day 7

lmw218

Day 7 - today is our day off, although we were still up for a 7 o'clock breakfast. Once finished and dressed in our best we were off to St Martins church, by the hospital. Here we were given a very warm welcome by everyone as we introduced ourselves. There were blessings for the school children who are about to do exams, singing and enthusiastic dancing.

We then spoilt into two groups, one group visiting the Nyero rocks and our group went into the community, to complete some outreach work.

The therapist who went with us saw a number of children who had potential for further development. They are coming to the hospital for the last day of distribution and will hopefully go away with a mobility aid that will help.

It was great to experience being out in the country, visiting the small villages. It truly is a beautiful country..
