We met Opio Boniface today. He was a lovely young man who had lost a leg in a horrendous traffic accident.
While riding pillion on a Boda Boda a truck crashed into them while over taking on a corner. The driver of the Boda Boda died instantly having sustained fatal head injury and Boniface had his leg crushed. Tlead to an amputation. This all occurred two and a half years ago but thankfully he is back to school and hoping to become a doctor. As well as new crutches, he will be referred for a prosthetic limb which will make such a difference to life in the future. The images show how the prosthetic limb is being made.
